KRV Bridge Connection Community Garden

In Collaboration with the KRV Garden Club

The KRV Bridge Connection Community Garden is a multipurpose space dedicated to sustainability, education, and community support. By combining the expertise of the KRV Garden Club with local volunteer efforts, we cultivate a space that nourishes both the land and our neighbors.

🌽 Growing for the Community

Our primary mission is to provide high-quality, fresh produce to the Emergency Choice Pantry. By growing food locally, we ensure that those utilizing the pantry have access to fresh supplemental nutrition that is often difficult to source.

📚 Education & Growth

The garden serves as a living classroom. We offer hands-on educational opportunities for:

Students: Learning about biology, ecology, and sustainable agriculture.
Volunteers: Gaining practical gardening skills while giving back to the community.

🎭 Community Event Space

Beyond the rows of crops, the garden is a vibrant venue for community gatherings. It provides a serene, outdoor setting for events that bring the Kern River Valley together.
